Senior Analytics Engineer I
5 + years |
Digital Green is a pioneer global not for profit organization, utilizing digital platforms and community-driven approaches to amplify the voices of smallholder farmers and improve their livelihoods. Our mission is to create a world where farmers use technology and data to build prosperous communities. By harnessing the power of technology, we facilitate knowledge sharing, capacity building, and market linkages, enabling farmers to adopt sustainable agricultural practices and increase their productivity and income.
We are dedicated to transforming the lives of under-served smallholder farmers worldwide through innovative technology solutions. Backed by leading philanthropic organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), Walmart Foundation, USAID, and UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (UKFCDO), we are committed to leveraging data and technology to empower smallholder farmers and strengthen agricultural extension systems.
We’re seeking a Sr. Analytics Engineer I to strengthen our ability to learn from user data—turning millions of farmer interactions and behavioral signals into insights that guide design, growth, and strategy.
FarmerChat’s analytics infrastructure is at an early and critical stage. The main goal of this role is to strengthen the data foundation and launch a targeted set of high-priority, high-visibility analytical projects—helping us understand how farmers find, use, and benefit from FarmerChat across India, Kenya, Ethiopia, Nigeria, and other priority geographies.
You’ll join a lean but growing data and analytics team embedded within FarmerChat’s global strategy function, working closely with cross-functional product and tech teams. This is a senior individual-contributor role: you’ll set the standards and best practices this function runs on, not just execute against ones already in place.

- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Nice to Have
